Herbert Ure Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Ure in Vermilion, Alberta, who passed away on November 26, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Ure and Louise Ure; his siblings, Gary Ure and Darlene Adams; and his son-in-law Robbie Centazzo.
He is survived by: his wife Marilynn; his daughters, Cindy Lennon (Jim), Shelly Myshak (Larry), Lori Macnab and Lana Centazzo (Eddy); his grandchildren, Brad Macnab, Tyrell, Andy Lennon (Kayla), Drake Centazzo (Chantal), Christopher Myshak (Bri), Kade Myshak (Jordan), Orrin Centazzo, Krista Lennon, Courtney Walker (Mitch), Adison Burnside (Jared), Alicia Haines (Monty) and Shelby Symenuk (Stu); his brothers, Jim Ure (Elaine) and Joe Ure (Kathy); his siblings-in-law, Judy Ure and Don Adams; and his uncle Mark Centazzo (Jody). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, special friends.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Marwayne Community Hall (210 S 2 St, Marwayne, AB T0B2X0).
Donations in memory of Herb may be made to Marwayne Fire & Rescue Department, Marwayne Minor Ball or Marwayne Dewberry Minor Hockey.
