Howard Scarfe Obituary
We announce the death of Howard Scarfe in Vermilion, Alberta, who passed away on July 2, 2026, at the age of 83. Howard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Scarfe and Grace Scarfe; his brother Lanny (Joan Scarfe); his niece Della Scarfe; and his brother-in-law Barney Hughes.
He is survived by: his sisters, Mildred Hughes and Ardis Gordon; his nieces and nephews, Jim Scarfe (Tina), Regan Scarfe, Ross Hughes (Dollie), Jill Hughes (Terry), Kim Hughes (Wayne), Holly Kowblick (Kelly), Maxwell Hughes, Madeline Hughes and Grace Kowblick; Nora Hughes. He is also survived by numerous cousins, relatives and friends.
Memorial donations may be made to Vermilion River Flying Club, STARS, or a charity of choice.
