Johan Van Hoegee Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Johan Van Hoegee of Vermilion, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 14, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Johan leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johan Hoegee and Helena Van Hoegee; his siblings, Christiaan Van Hoegee and Ankie Goldberg-Van Hoegee; and his nephew Johan Goldberg.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Hermina Van Dijk; and his close friends, Frank, Kathy Eyben (family: Judy Eyben, Helen Brundige), Dean and Paula Williamson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
