He is survived by: his wife Dianne Mardell; his children, Chris Mardell (Tracy) and Terry Mardell (Angie); his grandchildren, Cody Mardell (Emily), Brett Mardell (Larissa) and Shelby Mardell; and his siblings-in-law, Freda Hutchinson (Ric), Bruce Cowan (Janet), Cary Cowan and Maynard Smith (Maria). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
