He is survived by: his wife Sheila Smith; his daughter Maureen Taschuk (Dan); his grandchildren, Larissa Slade (Jordan) and Taylor Chernik (Kevin); his daughter Selene Jaremco (Todd); his grandchildren, Brittany Fitzpatrick (Michael) and Mark Jaremco; his great grandchildren, Maggie Fitzpatrick, Isla, Cohen, Parker Chernik, Annie and Darren Slade; his siblings, Clarence Mistal and Diane Cross (Laurin); and his siblings-in-law, Olga Mistal, Donna Mistal, Lois Smith and Murray Smith (Becky). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
