Peter Dutchak Obituary

With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Peter Dutchak of Vermilion, Alberta, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Peter left this world on July 4, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabe Dutchak and Olga Dutchak; his siblings, Nancy, Nick, Betty and Paul; his son-in-law Larry Battenfelder; and his great grandchild Grace Zietarsky.

He is survived by: his wife Elsie Dutchak; his children, Patty Stachniak (Don), Randy Dutchak (Helen), Barbie Battenfelder and Jackie Rempel (Shawn); and his sister Terry Townsend (Van Schaik). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Olga Ukrainian Catholic Church, Canadian Cancer Society, or charity of choice.
