With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard Grant Thompson (Vermilion, Alberta), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He is survived by: his wife Kari Thompson; his children, Robert (Genna Heibert), Carter and Kalli; his parents, Elsie Thompson and Verner Thompson; his brothers, Ben Thompson (Charlene) and Tom Thompson (Marcee Burr); his parents-in-law, Robert and Ann Rustad; his sisters-in-law, Melanie Copeland, Amy McPhee (Jamie) and Michelle Van Peteghen (Casey); and his nieces and nephews, Ashlee Thompson (Winston Boyle), Curtis Thompson and Andrew Nelson (Emily Venance). He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews in law, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
