He was predeceased by: his son Andrew "Drew" MacCallum; his parents, Roy MacCallum and Catherine MacCallum; his sisters, Dolina MacDonald, Muriel MacCallum, Diana Davey (Bruce) and Dunn MacCallum (Roseanne); his brothers-in-law, Stephen Hemphill and Aubrey Langille; and his parents-in-law, Ralph and June Hemphill.
He is survived by: his wife Linda MacCallum; his son Colin MacCallum (Vanessa); his granddaughter Élise MacCallum; his sister Ardith Langille; his siblings-in-law, Bruce Hemphill (Anita), Eric Hemphill (Marilyn), Douglas Hemphill and Deanne Hemphill; and his grandchildren, Paisley, Atley and Jaxley MacKinnon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lakeland College (Sterling MacCallum Memorial), Vermilion Seniors Centre, or charity of choice.
