She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Bowen and Anne Bowen; her parents-in-law, Lawrence "Ed" and Doetje Morrical; and her siblings-in-law, Larry Morrical, John Morrical, Viola Morrical and Jean Morrical.
She is survived by: her husband Dale; her children, Mark (Shelley), Warren (Alka Chevli) and Deirdre (Christopher Conlin); her grandchildren, Zoe, Luke, Jacob, Emma and Charlotte; and her siblings, Deirdre (Marcel Gareau) and Colin.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Viking Alliance Church (5115 48 St, Viking, AB T0B4N0).
In lieu of flowers in memory of 'Scil, donations may be made to the Viking Handi-Van Society or to the Charity of Ones Choice.
