It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky Wilk of Vilna, Alberta, who passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his significant other Barb Nelson; his father Edward Wilk; his siblings, Corinne Wilk and Darryl Wilk; his aunts and uncles, Theresa Stone, Dorothy Stone, Brenda Stone, Martie Wilk, Harvey Stone, Joe Stone, Ron Wilk, Steve Wilk, Donald Wilk and Jerry Wilk; his grandparents, Irvin, Julia Stone, Gerald, Nancy Wilk, Christine Moosewah, Irene Samson and Jeanie Anderson; and his nephew Wendal Houle.

He is survived by: his children, Christopher Smart, Ocean Morin and Dorian Morin; his grandchildren, Jaycell and Patience Grandbois; his mother Linda Stone; his sisters, Deborah Wilk, Stephanie Ominayak (G. Julian) and Beverley Stone; his aunts and uncles, Lorraine Stone, Kathy Stone, Evelyn Wilk, Sandy Wilk, Joyce Wilk, Ron Stone and Ernie Wilk; and his pet Barney. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
