He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura and Rosario of Vimy; his wife Germaine Dusseault; his son Daniel; his son-in-law Robert Taylor; his granddaughter Leah Fortier-Taylor; and his siblings, Yolande Racine, Emillien Fortier (Lilliane) and Emillienne Landry (Ulric).
He is survived by: his sons, Norman, Guy (Marjo Prokki) and Michel (Kathy Harkin). He is also survived by six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
