Cecil Reid Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cecil Reid in Wainwright, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 25, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Reid and Hazel Reid; and his sisters, Lois Hudson (Neil) and Kari Mauws. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Reid; his sons, Kevin Reid (Lisa), Terry Reid (Jill Hughes) and David Reid (Renata Callaway); his grandson Braden (Jackie); his great grandchildren, Daxson and Casey; his grandchildren, Shelby (Wes), Corbin, Amy (Kelton) and Kassie (Cody); his sisters, Myrna Wallace (Gary) and Carol Johnsey (Sonny); and his brother-in-law Charlie Mauws. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church.
