He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Martin (Martin); his parents, Clyde Shifflett and Elsie Shifflett (Dettmer); and his grandson Nathaniel Douglas Shifflett Babcock. He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Slater (Ron) of Sechelt, BC, Linda Shifflett of Edmonton, AB, Christine Larson (Terry) of Medicine Hat, AB and Joan Shifflett of Red Deer, AB; and his grandchildren, Shayne Slater, Corey Slater (Patricia), Amanda French (Joel), Stephanie Lechelt (Ian), Darien Cromwell, Quintin Larson and Casey Larson. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, as well as extended family, nieces and nephews.
