James Wilson Obituary

The passing of James Wilson of Wainwright, Alberta occurred on October 10, 2026. James, born on February 6, 1933, is remembered by those who knew him. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James WIlson and Emma WIlson; and his brothers, Laverne Wilson and Gordon Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Denise; his children, Eugene Wilson (Diana) of Rich Lake, Maureen Hughes (Curtis) of Hughenden, David Wilson (Leslie) of Bonnyville, Claudette Melin (Dallas) of Czar, Michael Wilson (Sabrina) of Calgary and Brian Wilson (Jody) of Calgary; and his grandchildren, Jared Hughes, Calvin Melin, Brayden Melin, James WIlson, Nolen Wilson, Xavier Wilson, Nathen Wilson, Megan Curr, Lauren Ronald, Paige Sather, Miranda Wilson, Kiara WIlson and Chloe Wilson. He is also survived by great grandchildren.

A reception will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (906 6 Ave, Wainwright, AB T9W1C8).
