We announce the death of Peyton Leigh Walker of Wainwright, Alberta, who passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 17. Peyton will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her grandfather Delmore Bergum. She is survived by: her parents, Scott Walker and Stacey Walker; her brother Carson Walker; her grandparents, Kevin, Lori Walker and Carole Bergum; her aunts and uncles, Deanne Nichol (Jim), Lesley Robinson (Daryll), Heather Wells (Jeff) and Andrea Miller (Shawn); her cousins, Hailey, Madyson, Emerson Nichol, Callan, Kya, Rayna Robinson, Sawyer, Reed, Halle Wells, Blayke and Rylan Miller; and her boyfriend Hunter Spilchuk. She is also survived by her many great-aunts, great-uncles, extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Peace Memorial (650 2 Ave, Wainwright, AB T9W2R2).
In lieu of flowers and if desired, donations may be made to the Team Peyton Trust Fund Account, with proceeds supporting a variety of charities and causes chose by and in Peyton's honour.
