He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucienne Phillips and Roger Fortier; his stepfathers, Eddie Day and Jim Phillips; and his brother Don Fortier.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Darren, Bradley (Rosina) and Shayleen (Cody); his grandchildren, Lyam, Abigael, Arwin, Rory and Ellie; and his sisters, Dian (Bob), Linda (Ken) and Edna (Kevin).

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Warner Seniors Centre (103 3 Ave, Warner, AB T0K2L0).
