Alan Boarer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alan Boarer of Westlock, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 3, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alan Boarer to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Boarer and Ruby Brausen (Brausen); his siblings, Ellen VanBeek, Anna (Ken Heisler) and Henry Brausen (Hank); his brother-in-law Doug Morgan; his mother-in-law Violet Weinhardt; and his sister-in-law Sylvia Homeniuk.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Boarer; his children, Tim Boarer (Nicole) and Tara Boarer; his sister Fern Meyer (Klaus); his siblings-in-law, John VanBeek, Audrey Sinclair (Bill) and John Homeniuk; his grandsons, Chance Boarer, Jordan Boarer, Cole Boarer, Erroll Boarer and Burkely Boarer; his stepgrandsons, Michael and Matthew Kraft; and his great grandchild Kai Boarer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Benoit Catholic Church (5302 50 Ave, Pickardville, AB T0G1W0). A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Glenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
