Alvin Yager Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alvin Yager of Westlock, Alberta, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Winnie; and his sister Betty Winnichuk. He is survived by: his wife Bernadette; his children, Lisa Tymkow (Darryl) of Westlock and Lee Yager (Megan) of Spruce Grove; his grandchildren, Derek, Joshua, Sierra, Brady, Brianna, Kanon and Daly; and his sisters, Margaret Belyk (Pat) of Edmonton and Lorna Bussieres (Andre) of Edmonton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Alvin's name to either the Westlock Food Bank or St. Mary Parish Food Pantry.
