He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Whitfield and Betty Whitfield; and his nephew Keith Tourigny. He is survived by: his siblings, Debbie Roy (Andy), Kirk Whitfield (Debbie) and Karen Olafson (Kris); his siblings' children, Kathy Puff (Stacey), Wade Whitfield (Christa), Lisa Catling (Mike), Laura Andrukiewicz (Luke), Zachary Olafson (Anna), Kurtis Olafson (Jessica) and Kyle Olafson (Marina); and his friends, Bill Schuler, Bob Bischler and Doreen Digby. He is also survived by four great nieces and eight great nephews.
