He was predeceased by: his parents, Polly Carlson and Francis Paquette; his siblings, Kathy and Bob; and his grandchildren, Dale and Ricky Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Ashton; his children, Polly (Larry), Sandra (Mark), Christina (Dion), Ron (Kim) and Don (Delia); his stepchildren, Lisa, Jennifer (Kimberly), Ronda (Chris) and Ryan (Lyn); and his sister Jean (Jim). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Westlock Funeral Home & Crematorium (10004 105 St, Westlock, AB T7P1V2).
