He was predeceased by: his former wife Pauline Verbeek; his parents, Joseph Verbeek and Caroline Verbeek; his siblings, Gilbert Verbeek and Theresa Ennis (Allan); his brother-in-law Steve Kovac; his sons-in-law, Walter Hess and Derek Bindon; and his grandson Bryce Wildman.
He is survived by: his wife Heather Verbeek (family: Dale Verbeek, Louellen "Susi" Paquette, Rolly Verbeek, Lori Lumley, Jason Wildman, Tina Dahl, Mark Wildman, Tammy Mugford); and his siblings, Norman Verbeek (Georgette), Violet Kovac and Joyce Robertson (Boyd). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Westlock Memorial Hall (9903 106 St, Westlock, AB T7P2P4).
