He was predeceased by : his parents, Morris Heemeryck and Dorothy Davidson; his parents-in-law, Bill and Irene Stefaniuk; and his brother-in-law Cameron Leslie.

He is survived by : his wife Sandy; his sisters, Connie Provost (Harvey) and Cheryl Leslie; and his nieces and nephews, Laurie (Ken Moon), Dawn Leslie (Jody Labelle), Trevor Provost (Kristy) and Ryan Leslie.
