He was predeceased by: his wife Louise; his daughter Cindy; his parents, Ed and Elise; his siblings, Maurice (Theresa), Dan (Grace), Alex (Vivian), Ralph, Oscar (Alexandria), Norman and Violet Hermanutz (Alf); and his brothers-in-law, Hector Soetaert and John Altmiks.
He is survived by: his children, Myra Dwyer (Joe), Neal Brenneis (Jeannie), Tammy Quintal (Lyle) and Michael Brenneis (Loreen); his grandchildren, Megan (Steve), David (Nicole), Kellie (Neil), Joel (Andrea), Jesse (Kirsten), Hayden (Karalee), Austin (Camille), Carter (Shailla), Mack, Madison (Conor), Dawson (Morgan) and Colten (Hailey); his sister Vera Soetaert; his son-in-law Wayne Pukalo; and his siblings-in-law, Connie Brenneis, Johanna Brenneis, Lillian Altmiks, Bernadette Palamarek (Gary) and Robert Altmiks (Janet). He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Charles Parish (56500 RR 263A, Mearns, Alberta).
