Dennis Beck Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Beck (Wetaskiwin, Alberta), who passed away on February 16, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William; his in-laws, Walter and Doreen Maplethorpe; his brother Trevor Beck; his sisters-in-law, Valerie Dewald and Carolyn Maplethorpe; and his pet Bert.
He is survived by: his wife Hilary; his children, Amanda Joblinski (Mike), Steven Beck (Jamie Laing), Matt Beck (Karla) and Chris Beck (Caitlin); his grandchildren, Walker, Lucas, Theo and Addilyn; his pets, Angus and Pippin; his brother Ken Beck (Jane); his siblings-in-law, Adrian Maplethorpe (Lois), Barb Beck and David Maplethorpe; and his friend England. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, family members.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Baker Funeral Chapel (5302 50 Ave, Wetaskiwin, AB T9A0T1).
