It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edgar York of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, who passed away on December 1, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edgar York to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest York and Rachael York; his daughter Elaine; his son-in-law Bill Chamzuk; his siblings, Dave York, Hattie York, Rae Wilson, Harry York, Mae Drummond, Nellie Heller and Mary Simpkins; and his siblings-in-law, George Wilson, Clarence Drummond, Jack Heller, Alvin Simpkins and Ethel York.
He is survived by : his wife Doreen; and his children, Ann Chamzuk of Edmonton, Gordon York (Connie) of Sundre, Linda Smith (Ray) of Wetaskiwin, Grant York (Carol) of Wetaskiwin and Melvin York (April) of Wetaskiwin. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
