Esther Rix Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Esther Rix of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Esther left this world on November 16, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harry; her son Lee; her parents, Edith and Martin; and her siblings, Viola, Irena and Carl.
She is survived by: her children, Dean Rix (Merlyn), Cheryl Dyck (Jon), Cindy MacLurg (Alan) and Kathy Partington (Stephen). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (4910 Northmount Dr, Wetaskiwin, AB T9A3R2).
