John Charles Schwonik Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Charles Schwonik in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, born in Victoria, British Columbia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 5, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, John shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid John farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his wife Jan; his children, Heidi and Karl (Andrea); his grandsons, Abram and Simon; and his siblings, Kathie (Murray), Wendy, Linda and Gordon. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Malmo Mission Covenant Church Cemetery (3610 56 Ave, Wetaskiwin, AB T9A1X1).
