We are sad to announce that on December 10, 2023, at the age of 65, Laura Sivak Long of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, born in Edmonton, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Sivak and Elizabeth Sivak; and her sister Lisa Wensink. She is survived by : her husband Wilf Long; her son Henry; her daughter-in-law Allyshea; her grandson Jack; her siblings, Theresa Ferrey (Geoff), Judith Sivak, Allison Sivak and Jim Sivak; her aunt Christine; and her friends, Donna Edwards and Allyson Goyette. She is also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Social Center (4810 Northmount Dr, Wetaskiwin, AB T9A3R2).

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Canadian Cancer Society to help find a cure for this disease that has taken too many.
