She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Schurek and Ruth Schurek; her brother Eugene Schurek; and her son-in-law Mike Wilke. She is survived by: her husband George; her children, Cheryl, John (Patti) and Crystal (Richard); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Brett, Colton (Stephanie), Jordan and Alex; her great grandchildren, Jase and Derek; and her sister Elaine.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Serenity Funeral Service (4715 50 Ave, Wetaskiwin, AB T9A0R9).
