He was predeceased by : his parents, Steve Shyshka and Julia Shyshka; and his siblings, John, William Shyshka, Katie Bucharski (Mike) and Annie Shaw (Bert).

He is survived by : his wife Lyvida; and his daughter Violet. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute, Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation, or a charity of one's choice.
