It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sydell Lindberg (Wetaskiwin, Alberta), who passed away at the age of 80, on November 1, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bob; her parents, Theodore Striker (Ted) and Sadie Striker; her siblings, Ken Striker and Karen Miller; and her adoptive father Ted (Sadie Striker).
She is survived by: her children, Richy Lindberg (Coreen) of Stony Plain and Audrey Lindberg (Stephanie Boose) of Crowsnest Pass; her grandchildren, Natasha Lindberg of Grande Prairie, Kitrina Lucuk (Marlin) of Grande Prairie and Brydan Lindberg (Yolanda Gysbers) of Edmonton; her great grandchildren, Gracelyn, Ashlee Lucuk, Mila and Ava Lindberg; and her children, Ted and Lily Young. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Wetaskiwin Seniors Centre (5216 54 St, Wetaskiwin, AB T9A2X1).
The family requests no flowers be sent, please. Donations may be made to Wetaskiwin Health Foundation - Palliative Care Unit in memory of Sydell.
