We bid farewell to Walter Unland (Wetaskiwin, Alberta), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 4, 2025 at the age of 75. Walter touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ken Unland and Jane Unland; his brother Phil; his siblings-in-law, Maureen Unland and Michael Denis; and his niece Machele Fiveland.
He is survived by: his wife Fern; his children, Myron (Tammy) and Stephanie (Rob); his grandchildren, Matt (Kailey), Ben Unland, Emma (Ben), Laine and Alexa Whittaker; and his siblings, Dale (Ella), Linda Fiveland (Derrill) and Lorna Denis.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Baker Funeral Chapel (5302 50 Ave, Wetaskiwin, AB T9A0T1).
In memory of Walter, donations may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
