He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Edythe; his wife Barbara McGill; and his siblings-in-law, Helen Park (Malcolm) and Bob McGill (Dianne) of Perth Ontario.

He is survived by: his brother Ross (Janine); his children, Kim and Rob (Jill); and his granddaughters, Suzanne (Liz) and Laura (Ryan). He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
