Karen Darlene Fortier Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2025, at the age of 68, Karen Darlene Fortier of Whitecourt, Alberta, born in Edson, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Karen may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Karen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Klein and Phyllis Klein; and her brother Terry. She is survived by: her husband Gerry; her children, Aaron (Maureen), Nicole (Marcus) and Nina (Nick); and her grandchildren, Holdyn, Hudson, Jared, Nixon, Grace and Noah.
