He was predeceased by: his parents, William McLaughlin and Alma McLaughlin; and his half-brother Richard Swayn. He is survived by: his significant other Susan Mullaney; and his siblings, Murray Valiaho, Terry Swayn, Kathy Nergard, Susan Jensen, Marianne Rife and Diane McLaughlin.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, January 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Skyview Alliance Church (112061 Township Rd 591, Whitecourt, AB T0E).
