He was predeceased by : his parents, Algot Erickson and Agnes Erickson; his son Dale; his former life partner Roberta (Bertie); and his sons-in-law, Jim and Larry.

He is survived by : his wife Dorothy; and his daughters, Judy (Pat) and Barb. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; 5 step daughters, 1 stepson, 13 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
