It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Rivard (Willingdon, Alberta), who passed away on October 3, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his former wife Vonnie; his son Tyler; his parents, Bernice Rivard and Omer Rivard; his mother-in-law Mary M. Homeniuk; and his brother-in-law Perry Riehl.

He is survived by : his wife Nina; his children, Patrick (Tammy), Scott (Diana) and Ashley (Eric); his grandchildren, Santana, Elijah, Violet, Grayson, Kadyn and Emmett; his father-in-law Mike Homeniuk; and his siblings, Joyce Bublitz, Beverly Thomson (Murray), Linda Bendeler (Richard), June Rivard, Janice Blanchard (Edward), Cheryl Beaudin (Rodney), Roxanne Topham (Todd) and Bonnie Jackson (David).
