Alida Gerarda Onderwater Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alida Gerarda Onderwater (Abbotsford, British Columbia), who passed away on July 3, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John; her siblings, Ria and Jan; and her father Simon. She is survived by: her siblings, Otto and Corrie; her children, Mary DeFehr (Rick), Judy Solberg (Barry), Lee-Ann Mitchell (Tom) and Raymond; and her stepmother Maria. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Menno Home East 2, Dr. Dueck and the wonderful friends that pre and post Covid were able to visit. She was always happy to receive a quick note of encouragement from family and friends during Covid restrictions.
