He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Hackett and Alice Hackett (Mary); and his son Rex. He is survived by: his brother Denny; his children, Terry (Sue), Caroline (Larry) and Dion (Cindy); his grandchildren, Jane (Kevin), Alison (Jordan), Shelley (Darcy), Steve, Olivia (Dustin), Darrell (Colleen), Heather (Jordan) and Liam; his great grandchildren, Ursa, Emilia and Rosie; and also Alice.
