He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicolai Wiens and Katharina Wiens; his former wife Emilie Schroeder; and his siblings, Henry, John and Margaret Neufeld.
He is survived by: his wife Frieda Hall; his children, Judy (Ivan), Ron (Cheryl) and Doug (Karen); and his brothers, Ernie, Nic, Rubin and Walter. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
