She was predeceased by : her parents, Peter Martens and Helena Martens; her husband Samuel Megli; her children, Teresa Megli and Jeffrey Megli; her daughter-in-law Betty Megli; her siblings, Nora Martens and Calvin Martens; her nephew Bruce Linn; and her great-nephew Paul Martins.

She is survived by : her children, Brian Megli, Katharina Megli (John Wills) and Luci Richard; her son-in-law Edward Gallagher (Michelle); her grandchildren, Laura Burden (Graham), Leona Megli, Richard Gallagher, Charles Gallagher (Genesee Bohn) and Teresa Richard; her siblings, Helen Lofton (Don), Erna Martens and Peter Martins (Irene); her nieces and nephews, Bev Martens, Sharon Lofton, Valerie Morgan (Dennis), Brenda Thompson, Deborah Hrychiw (Peter), Gerald Martins and Del Lofton (Kristy); and her close friend Dr. Sigute Mazonyte. She is also survived by two great-granddaughters; and many beloved great and great-great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Daisy's memory may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee British Columbia for their relief work in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, or to the Union Gospel Mission.
