He was predeceased by: his brother Bernard; his former wife Mary; his grandson Sterling; his parents, Georgina Ewen and Harold Ewen; and his brother-in-law Arthur Bell.
He is survived by: his children, Colin, Trevor (Maria), David (Sandy), Greg (Paula), James, Kerry (Carmen), Sirena and Elizabeth.
