Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Elma Friesen of Abbotsford, British Columbia, born in Aberdeen, Saskatchewan, who passed away at the age of 94, on April 18, 2024. Though Elma may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of our lives, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband John Friesen; her children, Andrew, Luella, Ernie, Dan and Irma; and her mother Surely.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (2310 Clearbrook Rd, Abbotsford, BC V2T2X5). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hazelwood Cemetery (34070 Hazelwood Ave, Abbotsford, BC V2S7R1).
