It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Duerksen in Abbotsford, British Columbia, born in Arnaud, Manitoba, who passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, George is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that George's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; and his children, Cathleen [Brent] Murphy, Susan [Roger] Grose and Dave [Pearl Dawn]. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
