She was predeceased by: her husband Abe Loewen; her daughter Rosalie Pierson (Kelvin); her brothers, John and Helmut of Buhr; and her parents, Frieda and Hermann of Buhr.

She is survived by: her daughters, Marlene Foster (Sherman), Hildi Mitchell (Colin) and Elsie Rempel (Ron); her son-in-law Kelvin Pierson; her grandchildren, Lane Foster, Alexie Foster (Joey Fenwick), Colby Foster, Christian Mitchell (Mia), Alyssa (Michael), Caleigh Mitchell, Chad Rempel, Ryan Rempel (Dina), Elise Jones (Jonathan), Chantel Peters (Joel), Mariah Pierson and Kyle Pierson; her great grandchildren, Hailey, Desmond Jones and Calem Gerth; her sisters, Gerda of Buhr, Tillie Mueller (Rolf) and Edith Berger (Hartmut); and her sister-in-law Elaine of Buhr. She is also survived by her family and friends.
