Ivan Brigden Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ivan Brigden in Abbotsford, British Columbia, who passed away on July 11, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis and Marilyn; his stepson Steven Turchak (Melba); his grandson Andrew Tearoe; his siblings, Bill, Laurie, Ben and Irene; and his stepbrother Spencer.

He is survived by: his son Norm (Kevie); his grandchildren, Nathan Brigden (Molly) and Alana Robinson (Brad); his daughter Judy Tearoe (Tom); his grandchildren, Jesse Tearoe and Stephen Tearoe (Jenny Li); his daughter Tina Bueckert (Howard); his grandchildren, Jenn Bueckert and Denise Bueckert; his stepdaughter Karen McDonald (Russ); his grandson Jordie McDonald (Amy); his stepdaughter Shelly Montreuil (Laurier); his grandchildren, Kyle Montreuil, Aaron Montreuil, Tanner Turchak and Jarret Turchak; and his siblings, Roy Hayes (Emily), Beth Baker, Rosemary Vegso (Jim), Marilynne Cunningham (Allen) and Angela Carr (Randy). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Springfield Funeral Home (2020 Springfield Rd, Kelowna, BC V1Y5V8).
