He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Zacharias and Aganetha Zacharias (Klassen); his siblings, David and Lena; and his grandfathers, Bruder, Onkel, Freund Jacob and Jake.
He is survived by: his wife Tina; his children, Bernie (Sharon) and Rose (Matt); his grandchildren, Jared, Nathan, Kaitlyn, Kara, Elias and Cole; and his sister Tina Friesen.
During COVID, people from the church and surrounding community bought vegetables directly from him, and again Jake donated the money.
