He was predeceased by : his parents, Jan Kostelijk and Annie Kostelijk; and his siblings, John (Jacob), Trudy and Maria.

He is survived by : his wife Alice Kostelyk; his children, Ed Kostelyk (Janice), Mary-Ann Kostelyk, Pauline Klok (Ron) and Yolanda Kostelyk (Darryl); and his sisters, Ankie Baardman and Nelly Kostelijk.
