John Dirk Van Dyke Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2026 we had to say goodbye to John Dirk Van Dyke (Abbotsford, British Columbia), born in Edmonton, Alberta. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dirk Dyke and Grace Van Dyke; his children, Karen (Mike), Meredith (Kevin), Jonathan (Joleen) and Laura (Shawn); and his grandchildren, Anna, Ruth, Nathan, Elyse, Eden, Josie, Sebastian, Willa and Henrik. He was also cherished by his children, his wife, his siblings, and many lifelong friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at the New Life CRC (35270 DeLair Road, Abbotsford V3G2E2).

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Jack and Alice Scholarship at TWU or ACS will be graciously received.
