He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Warkentin and Anna Warkentin; his wife Selma; his siblings, Don, Lois, Joy and Bob; and his children, Paul (Ina), Rick (Corinne), Elaine and Petra (Armand). He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Gathering Church (2285 Clearbrook Rd, Abbotsford, BC V2T2X4). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Maclure Road Mennonite Cemetery (33965 Maclure Rd, Abbotsford, BC V2S7W3).
